KERMI is represented with over 170 convectors in the Volksparkstadion

Volksparkstadion Hamburg

The Volkparkstadion (formerly the Imtech Arena) in Hamburg was rebuilt in 1953. It is home to the Bundesliga club Hamburger SV and was the venue for many international matches as well as the World Cups in 1974 and 2006. In 1998, the stadium was remodelled and rotated by 90°. The Federal Aviation Authority had to grant a special permit as the stadium is located in the flight path of Hamburg Airport. A highlight after the remodelling of the arena was the 2006 World Cup in Germany. A total of 4 preliminary round matches and one quarter-final match were played. The stadium is also used for concerts and other sporting events. A total of around 57,000 spectators can watch the events. The historical milestones in the stadium's history can be viewed in its own museum.

Leisure park Monte Kaolino Amberg

The storage of waste quartz sand from kaolin processing at the Amberg kaolin works led to the creation of the white mountain "Monte Kaolino" near Hirschau over decades. The uniqueness of this mountain was discovered as early as 1957 and the first benefits were realised with summer skiing events. Further facilities such as a lift system, campsite and catering were built. The biggest event is probably the annual Sandboard World Championships. But the European Sand Ski Championships, the Sand Big Foot Championships and the Monte Grand Prix also liven up the mountain. The overall concept of the leisure park includes a dune pool with a total area of almost 12,000 square metres. Water slides and dune flair make the pool particularly attractive.

Over 750 square metres of KERMI's x-net underfloor heating system were installed in the newly designed dune pool area to ensure optimum heat distribution.
