Underfloor heating for renovation projects. Super slim, lightweight, and quick – these are the special strengths of the x-net C15 thin layer system. In contrast to conventional systems, the knob element in the x-net C15 thin layer system is designed in such a way that the sealing compound permanently bonds with the substrate, thereby enabling an extremely shallow floor structure. This makes the system ideal for efficient renovation solutions, with the option of heating and cooling. Can be laid directly on a wide variety of existing floor coverings without the need for costly chiselling or demolition work.

Pipe dimensions of both 10 x 1.3 mm and 12 x 1.4 mm can be laid using the same knob element. In contrast to the 10 x 1.3 mm pipe dimension, the x-net 5-layer pipe measuring 12 x 1.4 mm has a flow cross-section that is 35 % greater, thereby enabling:

  • Longer pipe lengths in the heating circuit
  • Fewer heating circuits for the same area, in turn allowing manifolds and manifold cabinets to become more compact
  • Lower material and installation costs

x-net C15 thin layer knob element

Kermi x-net C15 thin layer knob element – fixed in position by the self-adhesive backing.

Secured by the self-adhesive backing on the knob elements. Simply remove the protective film and lay on an appropriately pre-treated substrate.

The pipe inserted in the Kermi x-net C15 thin layer knob element can be fixed in any direction without the need for any additional pipe fasteners.

Kermi x-net C15 thin layer knob elements have a special design.

The sealing compound flows through the punch-outs in the knob element. This creates a stable bond with the load-bearing substrate (which needs to be prepared according to the instructions of the sealing compound manufacturer).

x-net 5-layer PE-Xc pipe

Kermi x-net 5-layer PE-Xc pipes have marks printed on them to indicate the remaining length and pipe length already used, thereby ensuring optimal utilisation of pipe coils.

Because of their high level of flexibility, the Kermi x-net 5-layer PE-Xc pipes allow tight bending radii while ensuring low restoring forces.

Kermi x-net 5-layer PE-Xc pipes and pipe connectors tested according to DIN 4726 and DIN EN ISO 15875.
