Calculation programs for indoor climate
What really makes Kermi solutions stand out is the fact that all their components are perfectly tailored to one another. We want to make sure this advantage extends to our planning tools too – with calculation programs for our indoor climate solutions.
Simply use our liNear Building design software to calculate radiators, panel heating systems, and controlled residential ventilation. You can also download data for Kermi products here. For Kermi x-well ventilation concepts specifically, you’ll also find our practical, free quick design tool, Kermi x-well Plan, available to download here.
Selection of programs
LINEAR BUILDING
The following product data can be imported into the liNear Building or Viptool/Vitoplan planning software:
- VDI3805/6: radiators
- VDI3805/2: heating fittings (valve data for hydraulic balancing incl. V7K-L valve)
- x-net panel heating and surface cooling systems, home stations
- x-well domestic ventilation systems
liNear Building can be expanded to include the ventilation/aeration concept modules according to DIN 1946-6 and a design/quotation module for residential ventilation. The x-well ventilation components can then be designed, the air flows balanced, and a list of specification materials generated.

Trimble Nova
In the Trimble Nova (Plancal) CAD/CAE software, you can design the following Kermi products:
- VDI3805 Sheet 6 (radiators)
- VDI3805/2 (heating fittings for x-net panel heating and surface cooling systems)
The product data can be uploaded directly into the software via the Trimble Nova data pool.
Kermi x-well Plan
Quick design tool for the central Kermi x-well ventilation system.
- Simple to generate the ventilation concept according to DIN 1946-6
- Air quantity calculation according to DIN 1946-6
- Quick design with automatic device assistant and integrated mass excerpt with images
