Some of the apartments have also been fitted with the Kermi Smart Home system which can be used to manage all the energy technology in an extremely efficient and user-friendly way. Since summer 2016, the district of Sachsenhausen in Frankfurt am Main got richer by an attractive property development. Four apartment blocks have been built there in one year as a sought-after gap fill As there is great demand for housing due to the shortage of apartments, this project with 48 apartments is a welcome addition for the Main metropolis. In a central position, between Schweizer Strasse and Oppenheimer Landstrasse or respectively Schweizer Platz, the sales prices are comparatively acceptable. Any disadvantage of the location due to its proximity to the railway line has been compensated by special noise protection measures taken by the Projektgesellschaft Hedderichstraße mbH, the company carrying out the work. Sound-insulated windows, a modern ventilation system, glass-fronted balconies combined with a clever room layout now ensure plenty of cosy living space.
Over a total floorspace of 5000 m², Kermi has installed the C17 klett system for residential climate control. The high quality interior fittings with a parquet floor and elegant bathroom ceramics complete the high level of comfort in the apartments

Bamber is amongst the most attractive towns in Germany. The historic city centre is the largest preserved undamaged of its kind and was therefore listed as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1993. The Henkel/Menzl family made it their job to extensively restore their half-timbered house which was mentioned in the town chronicles for the first time in 1648.
The old roof tiles, the clay and the compacted soil floors were preserved or reused. To keep the energy consumption of the old house as low as possible, it was completely insulated according to the EnEv (Energy Saving Ordinance for New Buildings). The first and second floor are heated entirely with wall heating from Kermi. This means that no radiators are required and the charm of the building from the Middle Ages is completely retained.

The Empress Augusta Foundation is a building complex in Potsdam which is steeped in history. The foundation has made it their task to give a home to war orphans in need of assistance. The architect A.Kickton built this building in a neo-Gothic style. The lady it was named after, Auguste Victoria, was the wife of Emperor Wilhelm I. She was allowed to live in the best room in the foundation.
In the time of the Russian occupation, the buildings were occupied by the KGB. The chapel of the foundation was used as a military court. In 2005 the Prinz von Preussen Bauträgergesellschaft mbH acquired the listed building and converted it into an exclusive residential complex with high quality, privately owned flats. Kermi ensures that the residents are kept comfortably warm with around 350 steel panel radiators installed.
