Red magnet in Gilching with Kermi products

Anyone driving past the industrial zone Gilching Süd will not be able to pass the working & living HOUSE without glancing with admiration at the striking building.

The distinctive, virtually cube-shaped building was constructed in two building phases (2015 and 2019). The building has approx. 6,600 m² floorspace distributed over three floors. There are now 17 companies in the commercial property with approx. 300 employees.  Four different spatial concepts ensure it is a space with flexible uses. The office areas can be adapted on a modular basis to a size between 50 m² and 2,500 m².

Kermi supplied the heat supply components for this special concept. The elegant anthracite grey of the Verteo vertical steel panel radiators and convectors with a radiation shield ideally complement the modern design of the building.

Real I.S. AG Gesellschaft für Immobilien Asset management took on the management of implementing the construction project for the owner "Bayernfonds Immobilien City Investition Objekte Erfurt und Jena KG".  The project company was faced with the task here of converting the existing one-pipe heating system into an effective heat supply with as little expense and effort as possible. The solution was provided by the "eccolution" renovation system from Kermi. With the installation of ninety eccolution substructures, up to 18 % higher energy savings is now being achieved while simultaneously improving thermal comfort.

Office buildings Düsseldorf

Bahners & Schmitz GmbH with its headquarters in Düsseldorf is a well-known property/project development company which invests in residential and commercial property which has appreciation potential all across Germany. Apart from extensive modernization measures, this also included expanding the network of cycle paths in the regional capital of NRW: In the underground garage area, a rental station for bicycles for use by the tenants was set up as an additional feature - either for everyday use getting to work or to be used for leisure activities - with an associated changing and shower area.

The x-change fresh domestic water heat pump by Kermi is used to sustainably heat the shower water energy-efficiently.

EnBW City Stuttgart

With strong roots in Baden-Württemberg, the EnBW is one of the most important energy supply companies and service providers in Germany and Europe. The "EnBW City" is the administration office building of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG in Stuttgart. The new-build they moved into in early 2009 is their central administration unit with a total of 2100 work spaces which historically had been split among 20 pieces of real estate in the city centre. The company is expecting more efficient workflows and reinforcement of the company culture as a result of grouping everyone together. In addition to that, the new administration building was to demonstrate how to build in a way to protect the environment while being cost-effective. In comparison to the reference buildings, energy consumption is reduced here by up to 54 %, for example because of the one of the largest geothermal systems in Europe.

In this futuristic building, Kermi radiators provide comfortable warmth while being highly energy efficient.
