The storage charging group is available in different versions. The components are already pre-assembled on a platform which can be installed directly on the x-buffer layer buffer storage unit and which is supplied with the corresponding insulation. Alternatively, the pump group can also be used for wall installation. A switchover valve ensure a switchover between domestic water heating and room heating.
The "unmixed heating circuit" group consists of a circulation pump and the corresponding shut-off devices. The "mixed heating circuit" group also has a mixer. These components are already pre-assembled on a platform which can be installed directly on the storage unit or a wall and which are supplied with the corresponding insulation.
It is the ideal supplement to the x-buffer layer buffer storage tank and guarantees hygienically clean domestic hot water. Designed as an energy-friendly flow heater.
The heat energy generated using the x-change heat pump can now be used in different ways to provide the domestic hot water. It is vital that the domestic hot water is kept completely hygienic. A simple and above all, cost and energy efficient secure option is the new x-buffer heat storage tank which in association with the fresh water station, always ensures a supply of fresh, hygienically clean domestic hot water.
With the Kermi solar heat exchanger it is quite simple to use solar energy to heat hot water. Because with the solar heat exchanger, a thermal solar panel system can optimally charge toe x-buffer layer buffer storage unit.
The layering process (primary side) in the x-buffer layer buffer storage tank uses the thermosyphon principle to ensure that the different temperatures are always at precisely the right temperature layers of the x-buffer layer buffer storage. With solar panel systems, this layer charging is very important as depending on the weather, it produces more or less heat energy per day. To optimally use solar energy, the energy from the first hours of sunlight are used to heat the top storage area which includes the zone for heating domestic water. In later hours of sunlight, the middle and bottom area of the storage unit are heated second. This layering function can only be achieved in conventional storage systems with complex electrical closed-loop control and control technology.
The Kermi x-buffer layer storage buffer tank in contrast in combination with the external heat exchanger, has a system which achieves optimal layering simply by using gravity. This means that thermal solar panel systems can be well used at low temperatures.
The supplemental storage tank is used to increase the storage capacity of an x-buffer 1000/1250/1500 layered buffer storage tank. For this purpose, the supplemental storage tank is connected to the x-buffer at the provided connections by means of customer-provided fittings. Because of the thermodynamic properties of water, temperature layering also occurs in the supplemental storage tank. Alternatively, the supplemental storage tank can be used as a simple buffer storage tank. Connection to the x-buffer layered buffer storage tank is carried out on-site.
