History

	1960	Foundation by Mr. KER schl and Mr. Sch MI dt = KERMI / with the production of steel oil tanks. Development of the first automatic production line.
		The craft reaches soon the leading position in producing steel oil tanks, with over 80 employees and a turnover of 8 million DM.
	1967	Kermi starts the production of the Kermi Therm radiators.
	1972	Kermi establishes the first full-automatic Kermi radiator production line.
	1973	Kermi joins the Salzgitter group, the basic for further explosive expanding.
	1975	Kermi goes into a leading position in the segment of radiators.
	1976	Development of the business sphere Shower Enclosures.
	1984	The steel–service-centre is put into operation.
	1987	Introduction of the central heating valve radiators with an expansion on the international market.
	1989	Consolidation of Salzgitter AG and Preussag AG. Kermi GmbH signs as enterprise of the Preussag Group.
	1992	A completely new radiator factory goes into production
	1994	Beginning of the Bath- and Designer radiator production.
	1996	The Shower Enclosure programme is completed and the production is expanded. Foundation of Kermi s.r.o in Czech Republic and Kermi sp.zo.o in Poland.
	1997	Horizontal and vertical convector radiators are incorporated in the assortment.
	2000	Introduction of Shower Enclosures without profiles.
	2001	Underfloor heating xnet completes the heating competence. Since the 1st of July, 2001 Kermi belongs 100 % to AFG Arbonia-Forster-Holding AG. With 2000 employees Kermi makes more then 200 million Euro.
	2006	Highlights: New Credo, Therm X2, xnet wall heating, Credo-Half Radiators – New Colour Concept Atea: 6 new highlights Ibiza 2000: 12 new highlights Kermi Extra
